Each year, the MWPA and its Member Agencies create an annual Work Plan that builds upon existing fire protection, prevention, and mitigation efforts as well as guidance from existing guiding documents, MWPA committees and other experts, and members of the public. Work Plan development generally takes place from approximately December through May. Proposals are considered during public meetings for the MWPA Advisory/Technical Committee (ATC), Operations Committee, and Board of Directors. Board consideration and approval occurs in May of each year. Annual Work Plans take effect on the first day of each fiscal year, July 1. Please visit the Community Calendar on the MWPA home page for upcoming meetings of the ATC, Operations Committee, and Board of Directors. Member Agency staff may log in above to access the web portal to submit proposals for consideration. Proposals submitted during previous Work Plan development cycles are currently visible to the public using the tabs above. Proposals for any current Work Plan development cycle will be made visible to the public as soon as is feasible and may be accessed using the tabs above.
